Miss Jessica Martinez
Miss Jessica Martinez is our third grade teacher. She came to St. Philip's in July of 2005.
Miss Martinez graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, in 2005. She has also taught at Prairie Lutheran School in Gibbon, MN.
Miss Martinez received the Vietnam Veteran’s scholarship. She was an accomplished athlete in track and field competition.
Miss Martinez became an educator because she feels that there is no better job in the world than working with children and sharing the wonderful news of salvation with them. She thoroughly enjoys watching her children grow in wisdom and in the content of their character.
Miss Martinez is a positive no nonsense teacher. High fives are readily handed out to her students. She celebrates their success overtly. This positive approach to teaching motivates the students in her room to go the distance for their teacher and strive to be the best that they can possible be.
